Formed in an '80s lumber town, Mr. Bungle, led by Spruance, Patton & Dunn, emerged in '85 in Humboldt County, CA, blending thrash metal with diverse instruments. Evolving over years, they vanished for two decades, exploring diverse music. Their return in 2020 revived their primal demo with Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo, culminating in a reinvigorated, raw yet precise metal album, self-appointing as the final puzzle piece in the pentagonal Big Five of music.
